We love to walk, even at night, and tonight was no different. We ventured out at 2am and decided to take a stroll around the city centre. At the end of Didžiosioji Street, where it meets Pilies Street, in a square I noticed a street gallery with some very interesting photos of old Vilnius, most of them showing the city as it was a hundred years ago. It was strange to recognise places I knew from my childhood. They have changed, but their core and soul remain the same. All photos in this article are copies of photos from “Lietuvos literatūros ir meno archyvas” (Lithuanian Archives of Literature and Art). Thank you very much.
