The plane took off from San José in Costa Rica and flew over the east coast of the United States before landing in Newark. Many places can be seen from the plane’s window, including Cuba, Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. We also flew over parks, rivers, oceans, beaches and cities. There were lots of fun places to see!

With so many views along the way, it wasn’t boring at all. The next flight is in a few hours. But first I have to deal with some US bureaucracy and strange customs procedures. Everyone, including transit passengers, has to pick up their luggage, go through customs and then check in their luggage again. What this has to do with transit passengers I don’t understand, and I feel sorry for the apple that was confiscated on its way to Nicaragua. But there it is. Let me concentrate on the next shortstop and a quick sightseeing in Zürich, Switzerland.
