In the morning, we have a few hours, and we head to the Museum of High Altitude Archaeology. But it doesn’t open until 11 a.m.; it’s now 9 a.m., and we are not in the mood to wait. We go back, and on the way, we see an open door and, behind it, a magnificent palace. We go inside, and the lady at the reception encourages us, invites us in, and with her hands shows us how to walk around. We do so, and later I find out that we were walking in the American Cultural Center.
Today, building only used as a convention center, where events are performed., We spend an interesting fifteen minutes, enjoy some culture, see a Neo-Renaissance building, and head towards Cerro Bolsón de los Cerillos.
